Biography
David H. Steinberg is an American writer, producer and director for film and television. He grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut, entered Yale University at age 16, and earned his law degree from Duke University, where he served as editor-in-chief of the law review. After four years practising entertainment law, he attended the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California.
Steinberg wrote the screenplays for American Pie 2 (2001), Slackers (2002), National Lampoon's Barely Legal (2003), American Pie Presents: The Book of Love (2009) and American Pie Presents: Girls' Rules (2020). He wrote the season 25 episode 'Pay Pal' of The Simpsons (1989), for which he received a Writers Guild of America nomination. He was co-creator, executive producer and showrunner of the Netflix series No Good Nick (2019).
