Biography
David Hasselhoff is an American actor, singer and television personality. Born on 17 July 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland, he trained at the California Institute of the Arts after earlier studies at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Michigan.
He first gained recognition for his role as Dr Snapper Foster on the soap opera The Young and the Restless (1975–1982). He later starred as Michael Knight in Knight Rider (1982–1986) and as Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch (1989–2000), which he also produced for several seasons. His film credits include DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story (2004), The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004) and Click (2006), in which he played Ammer.
