Biography
David Kennard is a British director, producer and writer of non-fiction television and documentary series. He began his career at the BBC and contributed to the 1973 series The Ascent of Man as one of its film directors.
Kennard later worked on major documentary projects including Connections (with James Burke), Cosmos (with Carl Sagan) and The Hero's Journey (with Joseph Campbell). He is co-founder and president of Independent Communications Associates Inc. (InCA), a non-fiction production company with offices in the United States, France and Kenya. His later directing credits include the wine documentaries A Year in Burgundy (2013), A Year in Champagne (2014) and A Year in Port (2016).
