Biography
David Lascelles, 8th Earl of Harewood, is a British film and television producer. Born in London in 1950, he began working in documentaries before moving into drama for television and cinema.
He produced nine episodes of the ITV series Inspector Morse (1987) between 1990 and 1991. His other credits include line producer on the film Richard III (1995), producer on The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders (1996) and Immortality (1998), and executive producer on the 2017 film of Carnival Messiah.
Lascelles succeeded to the earldom in 2011. His productions have received BAFTA and Royal Television Society awards.
