Biography
David McKenna is an American screenwriter and producer. Born on 14 August 1968 in San Diego, California, he wrote the screenplay for American History X (1998) at the age of 26.
His other screenwriting credits include Body Shots (1999), Get Carter (2000), Blow (2001), Bully (2001, credited as Zachary Long) and S.W.A.T. (2003). He has also worked as a producer and created the television series E-Ring (2005–2006). McKenna is a film professor at Columbia University and Barnard College.
