Biography
David Moessinger was an American television writer, producer and director. Born on 6 May 1930 in Bethlehem, New York, he contributed scripts to numerous series from the 1960s onwards, including story and teleplay credits on Mission: Impossible (1970).
He wrote episodes of Combat!, Kung Fu, The Wild Wild West, Quincy, M.E., Blue Thunder, Murder, She Wrote and Jake and the Fatman. Moessinger also directed episodes of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and Man from Atlantis, and served as executive producer on several series including Murder, She Wrote and Quincy, M.E.. He received two Primetime Emmy nominations.
Moessinger was married to writer and producer Jeri Taylor. He died on 26 October 2018.
