Biography
David Niven Jr. is a British film producer and occasional actor. Born in London on 15 December 1942, he is the son of actor David Niven. He worked as an executive at Columbia Pictures and as managing director of Paramount Pictures in England before focusing on production in the mid-1970s.
He produced The Eagle Has Landed (1976) and Escape to Athena (1979), the latter starring his father. Other producing credits include Monsignor (1982), Kidco (1984) and That's Dancing! (1985). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination as executive producer of the television film The Night They Saved Christmas (1984).
Niven has also appeared in small acting roles, including in Rush Hour 3 (2007).
