Biography
David Peace is an English writer. He was born in 1967 in Dewsbury and grew up in Ossett, West Yorkshire. He was educated at Batley Grammar School, Wakefield College and Manchester Polytechnic.
Peace is best known for the Red Riding Quartet of novels (1999–2002), which were adapted into the 2009 Channel 4 series Red Riding, and the novel The Damned Utd (2006), adapted into the 2009 film The Damned United. He was named one of Granta's Best of Young British Novelists in 2003.
