Biography
David Tillman is an editor, producer, writer and director. He has worked on documentaries and series for networks and streamers including HBO, Netflix and National Geographic.
His editing credits include the docu-series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (2015) and its sequel The Jinx: Part Two (2024), Diana: In Her Own Words (2017), Q: Into the Storm (2021) and Amy Bradley Is Missing (2025). He also served as writer and producer on Diana: In Her Own Words.
Tillman received a George Foster Peabody Award for MLK: The Assassination Tapes (2012) and a News & Documentary Emmy for Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes (2017). He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for picture editing on The Jinx: Part Two.
