Biography
David Witts is a British actor and model. Born in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, he is best known for playing Joey Branning in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2012 to 2013.
He has appeared in television series including Recovery Road (2016) as Craig and Manhunt (2021) as DC Adam Spier, as well as episodes of Doctors (2019). His film credits include The Beekeeper (2024) as Mickey Garnett. Witts won the Inside Soap Award for Sexiest Male in 2012 and the National Television Award for Most Popular Newcomer in 2013.
He runs the Work MCR acting studio in Manchester.
