Biography
Daysha Broadway is a film and television editor. A Los Angeles native, she holds a master's degree in film editing from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University.
Her credits include the HBO series Insecure (2016), on which she edited episodes, and the documentary The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist (2026). She edited Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (2022) and served as co-producer, and worked on A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019–2021) and Your Monster (2024).
Broadway is a member of the American Cinema Editors. In 2021 she was part of the first all-women of colour team to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing in a Variety Series, for A Black Lady Sketch Show. She received a Peabody Award for her work on Surviving R. Kelly.
