Biography

Deb Lacusta is an American television writer and actress. She has written numerous episodes of the animated series The Simpsons (1989), often in collaboration with her husband, voice actor Dan Castellaneta.

Lacusta was born on 15 March 1958 in Detroit. With Castellaneta, she co-wrote The Simpsons episodes including "Days of Wine and D'oh'ses" (2000), "Gump Roast" (2002), "The Ziff Who Came to Dinner" (2004), "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore" (2006), "The Fight Before Christmas" (2010), "The Ten-Per-Cent Solution" (2011), "Havana Wild Weekend" (2016) and "My Way or the Highway to Heaven" (2018). The pair received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore" in 2007.

She has also contributed to The Tracey Ullman Show and written for Simpsons comics, and has appeared as an actress in several television series and films.
