Biography

Deborah Moran is a television picture editor. She is a graduate of SUNY at Fredonia and began her career as an assistant editor on series including Homicide: Life on the Street (1996–1998) and Oz (1997), later becoming an editor on both.

She has edited episodes of The Wire, House (2004), Royal Pains (2009), Damages, Borgia, Bloodline, The Get Down, City on a Hill (2019), The Sinner (2017) and The Good Fight. Moran is a member of the American Cinema Editors. She won an International Monitor Award for best editing on The Beat (2000) and was nominated for the award on Oz and Homicide: Life on the Street. In 2006 she was named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Young Editors.
