Biography
Deborah Pratt, also credited as Deborah M. Pratt, is an American director, writer, producer and actress. She was born on 16 December 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, and studied at Webster University.
She began her career in acting on stage and in television series including CHiPs (1977) and Airwolf (1984), where she also wrote episodes. Pratt co-created, served as executive producer and head writer on Quantum Leap (1989–1993), penning numerous episodes and voicing the character Ziggy. She later wrote for Magnum, P.I. and created the series The Net (1998).
Pratt made her directorial debut with the television film Cora Unashamed (2000) and has directed episodes of Grey's Anatomy (2020) and the Quantum Leap revival (2023). She has been an executive producer on the 2022 Quantum Leap series and is the former spouse of producer Donald P. Bellisario.
