Biography
Debra Paget is an American actress. Born Debralee Griffin on 19 August 1933 in Denver, Colorado, she made her film debut in Cry of the City (1948) at the age of fifteen. She gained early prominence opposite James Stewart in the western Broken Arrow (1950) and was signed to a contract with 20th Century Fox.
Paget is known for her role as Lilia in Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments (1956) and as Cathy Reno in Elvis Presley's debut film Love Me Tender (1956). Other credits include Demetrius and the Gladiators (1954), The Tiger of Eschnapur (1959) and The Indian Tomb (1959). She also appeared in the horror films Tales of Terror (1962) and The Haunted Palace (1963).
Her acting career ended in the mid-1960s. She later hosted a religious programme on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
