Biography
DeJuan Guy is an American actor. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he relocated to Los Angeles and trained at the West Angeles Christian Academy and the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. He was discovered by director John Singleton at Marla Gibbs' Crossroads Theater Academy while performing a scene from A Raisin in the Sun, leading to an audition for Boyz n the Hood.
His first major film role was as Jake in the 1992 horror film Candyman. Other film credits include Hoyt in Little Giants (1994) and Looney Toon in Baby Boy (2001), reuniting him with Singleton. On television, he appeared in episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, 90210, Boy Meets World, Sister, Sister and Boston Public, among other series.
