Biography
Dempsey Bryk is an American-Canadian actor and filmmaker. He was born on 29 August 1996 in New York City and grew up in Toronto. He is the son of actors Greg Bryk and Danielle Nicholas Bryk, and brother of actor Billy Bryk. Bryk trained at the Neighbourhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York after briefly attending the University of Western Ontario's Ivey Business School.
Bryk's television credits include recurring roles as Wyatt McMurtry in Heartland and Prince Airk Tanthalos in the Willow series (2022). His film roles include Rob in The Silence (2019) and Derek in Ordinary Angels (2024). He has also appeared in The Fight Machine (2022), where he acted alongside his father, and has credits as a writer, producer and director, including the feature Crash Land which premiered at SXSW in 2026.
