Biography
Denis Bachter is a German film and television editor. He trained as a film and video editor at ARRI Film & TV Services GmbH and is based in Munich, where he is a member of the Bundesverband für Filmschnitt Editor (BFS).
Bachter has edited episodes of the Netflix series Dark (2017) and 1899 (2022). His feature film credits include Friend Request (2016), Welcome to Hartmanns (2016), 100 Things (2018), The Goldfish (2019), Nightlife (2020) and Old White Man (2024). He received a nomination for the BloodGuts UK Horror Award for Best Editing on Friend Request.
