Biography
Denise DuBarry was an American actress. She appeared as Johanna Franklin in the 1979 film Being There. Her other acting credits include a recurring role as nurse Lieutenant Samantha Green on the television series Black Sheep Squadron (1976–1978), and guest roles in series such as Charlie's Angels (1977), CHiPs (1977), The Love Boat (1977) and Trapper John, M.D.. She also appeared in the films The Devil and Max Devlin (1981) and Monster in the Closet (1986).
Later in her career DuBarry worked as a film producer and businesswoman. She co-founded the direct-response marketing company Thane International with her husband William Hay in 1990 and served as its chief creative officer until 2005. She was also president of Palm Springs Women in Film and Television. DuBarry was born on 6 March 1956 in Killeen, Texas, and died on 23 March 2019 in Los Angeles.
