Biography
Denise Wingate is a costume designer whose credits include numerous feature films and the television series Daisy Jones & the Six (2023). She grew up in Los Angeles and began working in styling before moving into costume design, with early television work on series such as Melrose Place.
Her film credits encompass Cruel Intentions (1999), She's All That (1999), Wedding Crashers (2005), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012), Tag (2018) and Unhinged (2020). She returned to design costumes for the 2021 reboot He's All That. Wingate won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Period Costumes for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her work on Daisy Jones & the Six.
