Biography
Dennis Hill (1949–2014) was an American actor. He appeared as Guard Tom in the 1995 film The Underneath and as Coach Harper in the 2004 film Friday Night Lights. His other screen credits include roles in Confessions of a Serial Killer (1985), Red Headed Stranger (1986) and Murder Rap (1988).
Before acting, Hill served for 25 years as a detective with the Austin Police Department and had prior military experience in the US Navy and Army. He was also a professional artist specialising in landscapes, seascapes and Western art. He divided his time between Arizona and the Los Angeles area.
