Biography
Dennis Snee (1951–2019) was an American television writer and producer. He began his career selling jokes to Rodney Dangerfield in the early 1970s and went on to write for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, Solid Gold (1980–1988) and the film Back to School (1986).
Snee wrote episodes of numerous sitcoms, including Mr. Belvedere (two episodes, 1990), Family Matters (1991), Empty Nest (multiple episodes and producing credits, 1993–1995), In Living Color (1993), The Wayans Bros. (two episodes, 1996–1997) and 3rd Rock from the Sun (1999). He contributed the episode 'Special Edna' to The Simpsons in 2003. He was also a contributor to MAD magazine and wrote stage plays.
