Biography
Denny Martin Flinn (21 December 1947 – 24 August 2007) was an American writer, choreographer, stage director and actor. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) with Nicholas Meyer, for which they received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Writing.
Flinn grew up in California and studied theatre at San Francisco State University. He performed on Broadway in productions including Sugar (1972), Hello, Dolly! (1975) and Pal Joey (1976), and worked as a choreographer on stage and in television and film. He later wrote non-fiction books on musical theatre and screenwriting, as well as the Star Trek novel The Fearful Summons (1995).
