Biography
Derek Norman Twist (1905–1979), sometimes credited as Derek N. Twist or D. N. Twist, was a British film editor, screenwriter and director. He worked at British Gaumont during the 1930s.
As an editor his credits include The 39 Steps (1935) and The Edge of the World (1937). He later directed and wrote several films, including All Over the Town (1949) and Prescription for Murder (1958). He was married to actress and stage director Vida Hope until her death in 1963.
