Biography
Dexter Gordon was an American actor and jazz tenor saxophonist. He appeared as Rolando in the 1990 film Awakenings and as Dale Turner in the 1986 film 'Round Midnight.
Gordon received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in 'Round Midnight. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on 27 February 1923 and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 25 April 1990.
