Biography

Diana Körner is a German actress born on 24 September 1944 in Wolmirsleben, Germany. She trained at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum and began her stage career with an engagement at the Theater Oberhausen in 1969, later joining the ensemble of the Staatlichen Schauspielbühnen Berlin.

She made her screen debut in 1967 and has appeared in numerous films and television productions. Outside Germany she is known for her role as Lieschen, the German girl, in Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon (1975). Other credits include The Flying Classroom (1973) and multiple episodes of the series Derrick (from 1974) and Scene of the Crime.
