Biography
Diane Guerrero is an American actress and singer. She is known for her roles as Maritza Ramos in the television series Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019) and Lina in Jane the Virgin (2014–2019). She voiced Isabela Madrigal in the animated film Encanto (2021) and starred as Crazy Jane in Doom Patrol (2019–2023).
Guerrero was born on 21 July 1986 in Passaic, New Jersey, and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She studied political science and communications at Regis College. She began her acting career in 2010 after working in a law office and has also written the memoir In the Country We Love: My Family Divided (2016). Her performance in Orange Is the New Black contributed to Screen Actors Guild Awards for ensemble cast in a comedy series.
