Biography
Diane Ruggiero-Wright is an American television writer and producer. She created the CBS series That's Life (2000–2002) and has written and produced on numerous shows, including Dirty Sexy Money (2007), The Ex List (2008) and High Potential (2024).
She joined the writing staff of Veronica Mars (2004) in its first season, contributing episodes as writer and teleplay author, and later served as producer and executive producer across the series run and the 2014 feature film, which she co-wrote with Rob Thomas. She co-created and served as showrunner on the CW series iZombie (2015–2019) with Thomas.
Ruggiero-Wright was born in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey, and began her career after working as a waitress; her writing was discovered by playwright Mark St. Germain, leading to her first screenplay sale.
