Biography
Dick Vosburgh (1929–2007) was an American-born actor and comedy writer who worked chiefly in Britain. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where he won the comedy acting prize, and appeared in supporting roles and voice work on television.
His acting credits include an episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969) as Van der Berg, various roles in How to Irritate People (1969), and the voice of the Professor in the television film The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1979). He also voiced Captain Larry Dart in the children's series Space Patrol (1963). Vosburgh was primarily known as a writer of sketches and lyrics for shows including The Frost Report, At Last the 1948 Show and The Two Ronnies.
