Biography
Diego Anido Alonso is a Spanish actor and playwright from Galicia. Born in Santiago de Compostela, he trained at Espazo Aberto and began his career on stage before moving to Barcelona to work in experimental theatre.
His early film roles include appearances in Pedro e o Capitán (2009), Trote (2018), Ons (2020) and Malencolía (2021), for which he won a Mestre Mateo Award for Best Supporting Actor. He gained wider recognition for his portrayal of Lorenzo in The Beasts (2022), earning a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Subsequent credits include Undercover (2024) as Sergio Polo, Gangs of Galicia (2024) and The Gentleman (2025) as Ledesma.
