Biography
Dillon Freasier is an American former actor. He played H.W. Plainview, the adopted son of Daniel Plainview, in Paul Thomas Anderson's 2007 film There Will Be Blood.
Freasier was not an actor prior to the role. He was discovered by casting director Cassandra Kulukundis while she searched rural schools near the film's Marfa, Texas, location. His mother, a traffic officer, pulled her over during the search. The production sent films featuring Daniel Day-Lewis to reassure her. Freasier received a Young Artist Award nomination for the performance. He had no further film roles.
