Biography
Dionisie Vitcu is a Romanian actor. He was born on 15 December 1937 in Ibănești and graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest in 1963.
He joined the Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre in Iași in 1968, remaining a member until 1992, and appeared in numerous Romanian films from the 1960s onwards. His credits include A fost prietenul meu (1963), Cucoana Chirița (1986), Undeva în Est (1991) and Beyond the Hills (2012), in which he played Mr. Valerica.
