Biography

Dipika Guha is a writer and producer. She was born on 6 July 1982 in Calcutta, India, and raised in India, Russia and the United Kingdom. She holds a BA in English Literature from University College London and an MFA in Playwriting from the Yale School of Drama, where she studied under Paula Vogel; she was also a Frank Knox Fellow at Harvard University.

Guha has written for television series including Sneaky Pete (2019), Black Monday (2020–2021) and Bait (2026). She has also worked as a producer on Black Monday, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2023) and Bait. As a playwright her works include Yoga Play, The Art of Gaman and Unreliable, and she has held fellowships including the inaugural Shakespeare’s Sister Playwriting Fellowship and residencies at New Dramatists.
