Biography
Dipo Ola is a British-Nigerian actor. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, he moved with his family to the United Kingdom as a child and trained at the Oxford School of Drama on its three-year acting course.
He made his screen debut in the Channel 4 series Baghdad Central (2020). Subsequent television credits include Inside No. 9 (2020) as Calvin, We Hunt Together (2020–2022) as Baba Lenga, McDonald & Dodds (2020) as Cal Baker, Landscapers (2021) as Douglas Hylton, and Ludwig (2024–) as DI Russell Carter. He also provided the voice of Laertes in the film Grand Theft Hamlet (2024).
Ola has directed, written and produced short films, including A Long Way from Cairo (2024). He received a nomination for Breakthrough Talent at the Edinburgh TV Awards in 2022.
