Biography
Dirk Craft was an American assistant director and director. He worked extensively as a first assistant director on feature films and television series from the early 1990s, including The Crucible (1996), Running with Scissors (2006) and multiple episodes of Rizzoli & Isles (2010–2012).
Craft completed the Directors Guild of America Trainee Program in 1991 after graduating from Michigan State University. He served as first assistant director on 25 episodes of the FX series Nip/Tuck (2005–2010) before directing four episodes of the show between 2008 and 2010. He also directed an episode of Burn Notice (2010).
Craft was married to casting director Sande Alessi. He died in Los Angeles on 24 March 2014.
