Biography
Dolores Moran was an American film actress and model. Born Dolores Jean Moran (also credited as Jacqueline Moran) on 27 January 1926 in Stockton, California, she was signed by Warner Bros. to a seven-year contract in 1942 at the age of 16.
Her career began with uncredited roles, including in Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942). She appeared in supporting parts in films such as Old Acquaintance (1943) and as Mme. Hellene de Bursac in To Have and Have Not (1944). Moran received a leading role in The Horn Blows at Midnight (1945) and had further credits including The Man I Love (1947). Her final film appearance was in Silver Lode (1954).
In 1946 she married film producer Benedict Bogeaus; they had one son and divorced in 1962. Moran died on 5 February 1982 in Woodland Hills, California.
