Biography

Dominique Fortin is a Canadian film editor from Quebec. Born in Montreal in 1961, she has edited numerous feature films and television productions over several decades.

Her credits include the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), Sunshine (1999), The 6th Day (2000), Seducing Doctor Lewis (2003), Head in the Clouds (2004), The Children of Huang Shi (2008), Erased (2012), The Grand Seduction (2014), Elephant Song (2015) and The Beach House (2018).

Fortin has won Genie Awards for best editing on Head in the Clouds and Family First, as well as Jutra and Iris Awards for her work in Canadian cinema.
