Biography
Domiziana Giordano is an Italian actress, photographer and video artist. Born in Rome on 4 September 1959, she studied architecture before training in acting at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica in Rome and at the Stella Adler Studio in New York, and in film directing at the New York Film Academy.
She made her screen debut in Mario Monicelli's Amici miei - Atto II (1982) as Noemi. Giordano appeared as Eugenia in Andrei Tarkovsky's Nostalghia (1983) and as Zina Bronstein in Ken McMullen's Zina (1985), for which she received the International Fantasy Film Award at Fantasporto. She played Madeleine in Neil Jordan's Interview with the Vampire (1994) and has worked with directors including Jean-Luc Godard and Nicolas Roeg.
