Biography
Don Mancini is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He created the Child's Play franchise, writing the screenplay for the first film in 1988 and all subsequent entries in the original series.
Mancini began directing with Seed of Chucky (2004) and has directed Curse of Chucky (2013) and Cult of Chucky (2017). He created and served as showrunner for the Chucky television series (2021–2024). He also wrote two episodes and produced eight episodes of the series Hannibal (2015).
He studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and Columbia University.
