Biography
Don Reynolds is a New Zealand producer and former sound recordist. He worked in sound on films including Utu (1983) and Smash Palace (1981) during the 1980s revival of New Zealand cinema, later establishing sound companies and taking production roles across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
His producing credits include The Quiet Earth (1985), Sylvia (1985), Illustrious Energy (1988), The End of the Golden Weather (1991) and River Queen (2005). He served as executive producer on the television film Riverworld (2003) and was involved in the launch of the long-running soap opera Shortland Street.
