Biography
Donald Churchill (6 November 1930 – 29 October 1991) was an English actor and writer. He appeared in numerous film and television productions from the mid-1950s until his death and wrote scripts for several television series and plays.
His acting credits include Victim (1961), The First Great Train Robbery (1978) as the Prosecutor, The Hound of the Baskervilles (1983) as Dr John Watson, and television appearances in The Saint (1962), Sherlock Holmes (1984) as Scott Eccles, and Stanley and the Women (1991). As a writer he contributed episodes to The Sweeney (1975 series) and other series including Goodnight and God Bless (1983), which he co-wrote and in which he appeared.
Churchill was married to actress Pauline Yates from 1960 until his death. He was born in Southall, Middlesex, and died in Fuengirola, Spain.
