Biography
Donald Douglas was an American film and television editor. He was born on 26 November 1932 in Kendall, Florida, and died on 3 October 2020 in Greeley, Colorado.
Douglas began his career in the early 1960s at Hanna-Barbera Productions, where he edited animated series and films including The Yogi Bear Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Jonny Quest and Hey There, It's Yogi Bear! (1964). He later worked on live-action series such as Kojak (1973, as editor on 13 episodes from 1974), Baretta, The Eddie Capra Mysteries and Murder, She Wrote (1984, 53 episodes from 1984 to 1991).
He received Primetime Emmy nominations for his editing on the miniseries George Washington (1984) and the pilot episode of Murder, She Wrote (1985). Douglas retired in 1991.
