Biography
Donald Symington was an American stage, film and television actor. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he began his career in theatre and appeared in several Broadway productions, including replacements in The King and I (1977–1979) and roles in Mourning Pictures (1974) and Murderous Angels (1971).
His film credits include Diary of a Mad Housewife (1970), The Front (1976), Annie Hall (1977) as Dad Hall, Bloodline (1979), Wolfen (1981), Hanky Panky (1982), Spring Break (1983) and Mighty Aphrodite (1995). He also appeared in television series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Symington died in 2013.
