Biography
Doreen James is a British costume designer. She worked at the BBC as a costume designer from 1974 to 1992.
Her credits include Doctor Who (1963) for eight episodes between 1978 and 1979, among them The Androids of Tara and City of Death. She also designed costumes for series such as The Dawson Watch (1979), Mackenzie (1980), Solo (1981), Play for Tomorrow (1982), EastEnders (1986–1988), Brush Strokes (1987) and Last of the Summer Wine (1991).
