Biography
Doris Deane (1901–1974) was an American actress. Born Doris Anita Dibble in Wisconsin, she appeared in films from 1919 to 1950, including supporting roles in silent comedies.
She is credited with an uncredited role as the Girl Who Loses Dollar Outside Cinema in Buster Keaton's Sherlock Jr. (1924) and appeared in Seven Chances (1925). Other films include The Shark Master (1921), The Half Breed (1922) and The Iron Mule (1925).
Deane was married to film director Roscoe Arbuckle from 1925 to 1928 and to Elmer S. Hartz from 1932 to 1934.
