Biography

Dorota Roqueplo, also credited as Dorothée Roqueplo, is a French-Polish costume designer. She was born on 18 March 1960 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, and trained at the École Internationale des Arts de la Mode in Paris. She has worked primarily in Poland since the late 1980s, designing costumes for film, theatre, opera and advertising.

Her film credits include Loving Vincent (2017), The Doll (2026), Suicide Room (2011), Warsaw 44 (2014), Corpus Christi (2019), The Mill and the Cross (2011) and Boys Don't Cry (2000). She has received multiple Orzeł (Polish Film Academy) awards for best costumes and individual awards at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Roqueplo is a member of the Polish Film Academy, the European Film Academy and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
