Biography
Dorothy Ann Blank was an American writer. She received a story adaptation credit on the Walt Disney animated feature Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), one of several writers credited on the screenplay.
She joined the Disney story department in the summer of 1936 after working as a journalist, including at United Artists with publicist Hal Horne. Blank contributed to story treatments, dialogue for the Queen and scene cards marking the passage of time, and wrote the film's novelisation, which appeared in Good Housekeeping magazine and was later published as a book.
She was born on 15 September 1900 in Chicago, Illinois, and died on 4 April 1957 in Bakersfield, California.
