Biography
Drew Demorest was an American actor who appeared in numerous Hollywood films from the late 1920s to the late 1940s, frequently in supporting and uncredited bit parts. He was often credited as Drew Demarest.
His screen roles included Turpe - Costumer (uncredited) in the Academy Award-winning musical The Broadway Melody (1929) and Galloway in The Spoilers (1942). Other credits encompass Today (1930), Lord Byron of Broadway (1930), Men of San Quentin (1942) and many films in which he portrayed reporters, clerks or other minor characters.
Demorest was born on 31 August 1893 in New York City and died on 21 February 1949 in Los Angeles County, California. He was married to Henrietta Frazer.
