Biography
Dudley Manlove (1914–1996) was an American actor and radio announcer. Born in Alameda County, California, he began performing as a child and worked as a radio announcer, including on the San Francisco-based series Candy Matson, YUkon 2-8209.
Manlove is best known for playing the alien Eros in Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957). His other film credits include The Creation of the Humanoids (1962) and narration for the short Final Curtain (1957). He made guest appearances in television series such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1958–1960) and Dragnet (1957–1959).
