Biography
E. Lloyd Sheldon was an American screenwriter, film producer and film editor. He was born on 27 May 1886 in Springfield, Massachusetts, and died on 24 January 1957 in Los Angeles, California.
Sheldon wrote for more than forty films between 1916 and 1942. He also produced nineteen films from 1927 to 1939, often at Paramount, and worked as an editor on several late-silent features. His editing credits include Wings (1927), Underworld (1927) and It (1927). As a producer his credits include City Streets (1931), Death Takes a Holiday (1934), Hands Across the Table (1935) and The Milky Way (1936).
